This 38.3-hectare park, taking its name and spirit from Hans Christian Andersen, the author of children’s fairy tales, has five zones: “Kids Kingdom,” “Fairy tale Hill,” “Children’s Museum,” “Nature Experience” and “Castle of Flowers.”

Funabashi Sambanze Kaihin Koen (Seaside Park)
This park has a grassy plaza with a view of the ocean. In addition to clam digging at low tide in spring, you can enjoy barbeques, tennis and baseball. This is truly a park you can have fun throughout the year.

Funabashi Sambanze Environmental Learning Center
Visitors can discover the natural environment and history of Sambanze as well as the natural environment of the Earth in a fun way with family and friends at this museum
